March 8 to 13…Lover Venus Goes Warrior

On March 8 – 10, giant planet Jupiter reaches a potent ‘station’, and it’s time to unpack some emotional baggage: ‘Does it really matter?’ is the guiding question. Getting a lighter heart is the desired outcome. Since Lover Venus is now the Evening Star and has entered the warrior sign of Aries, choosing the right battle is the healing choice. From Saturday night through Monday 12th a practical Capricorn Moon makes the choosing easier, strategies clearer. The best battle is the battle with self, and it's easy on March 13.
March 14 to 19…Black Moon to a Crescent Moon-Venus Delight
You have to get up early to see the tiny last crescent Moon now; by March 16 it is invisible. New Moon in Pisces occurs late March 17 or 18, depending on location. This is the witchy Black Moon when seeds of dreams and hopes can be planted, just by focusing strong intention. On March 19 right after the sun sets, check out the western sky for that glorious monthly event of first crescent Moon and Venus aligned, resplendent in the early night sky. Seemingly karmic connections and that feeling of ‘just-rightness’ accompany this lunar unfolding.
March 20 to 25…Autumn Equinox for our Southern Lands
Chatty Mercury and Lover Venus align in fiery Aries on March 20, heralding the entry of Sun into Aries on March 21. For those of us in southern lands this is Autumn Equinox, the hinge of the year. Now day and night are equal length everywhere and for us, days will gradually shorten. With a waxing Moon and lots of Fire element pizazz, everything moves quickly - dramatically. Just beware the too quick or drama queen approach on March 24 – 25, since unnecessary angst is bound to follow.
March 26 to 31…Bright of the Moon Changes, Full Moon Rises
Since change is the only thing that doesn’t change, why do we splutter and groan when unplanned changes occur? My recent unplanned down-time when health and laptop both visited Hades have made me more respectful…so strange how good things often come from bad. Remember this on March 29 – 30. These testing days can be golden ones if we embrace any relationship hiccups with humour and don’t sweat the small stuff. March 30 is the day to do less, refuse to stress…Apply that template at Full Moon rising in Libra on March 31, or April 1 if you live in NZ. In both cases live Libra by letting the beauty you see be what you are inside.
April 1 to 5…Retro Mercury Revisits Old Ground
When Communicator Mercury went retro in Aries on March 23 we began a three-week cycle that occurs three times a year. The tiny planet is now at its closest to Earth and appears to go backwards, opening the door on some repeats, reviews and deeper perspectives. It also repeats a testing Saturn-link on April 4 – 5, this time drawing in warrior Mars. That means these can be days to shine by bravely addressing obstructions, with good will. Also flag important conversations to go further in late April. Friends, prep and support needed!
April 6 to 11…A Waning Moon Highlights the Mysteries
While Moon shrinks each night, Moon and Saturn align in Saturn’s sign of Capricorn, on Saturn’s day of Saturday April 7. Does this mean light-hearted party time? No…It means serious commitments, a building motif, which happily finds support from planet Venus, now in her natural home of Taurus. Beauty and stability can come together now. The mysteries of human relationships, of odd attractions and lessons to be learnt, are strongly revealed from April 7 to 11.
April 12 to 16…Dark Moon Mysteries for a New Moon in Aries
Wisdom can be found in seemingly small things in this Moon-wane time of April 12 to 15. Planet Neptune casts its spell of magical awareness, and subtle insights, by hooking up with Venus and Mars. Further Water/Earth magic comes with the Jupiter/Pluto dance, that began mid Jan, exact again April 14, unfolding to mid Sep.
