*April 27 New Moon in Taurus*

Did you know that the twelve star signs can be better understood as six pairs? Each opposite pair are joined by a common theme. For example, now that we are in the Taurus  sun cycle, it is the two signs Taurus and Scorpio that are most prominent. These signs sit on opposite sides of the zodiac and are the two polarities of the desire nature. This is their single theme. Taurus is strongest from Taurus New Moon on April 26, and April 27 at 0:16am for Aotearoa/NZ. Taurus is the earthy physical sensate side of desire, and one of the most fertile signs, since it represents the fertile earth. Sex, food, natural beauty, serving, caring, helping plants and people to grow, and a slow touch, are all in the Taurus bag of tricks. If you love a Taurus, you also know they will simply not move, when feeling pressured.

Scorpio comes into its most potent point on May 9 at 3pm here in NZ, earlier for the rest of the world! That is when Moon enters Taurus and builds up to Full Moon in Scorpio, exact May 11, a very dynamic time indeed. Scorpio is a Water sign and here the desire nature is internalised and super strong. Look carefully and you will see tiny whiffs of smoke coming out the ears of any Scorpio on a mission! This is the alchemist of the zodiac, stirring up potions and intentions, in deep private places, focussing desire to get results. Try focussing your desires at Full Moon with a simple ceremony under the light of the Moon.
